Neymar scored twice as Paris Saint-Germain secured their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Troyes at the Parc des Princes on Sunday.
The Brazilian forward, who was missing from PSG's previous game due to a knee injury, returned to action and helped his team secure all three points.
Neymar opened the scoring for PSG just after the half-hour mark, volleying home a low cross from Thiago Motta to give his side a 1-0 lead.
Troyes fought back in the second half, but PSG's defense held firm to secure the win and move up to third place in the Ligue 1 table.
"It was a good start for us," PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino said post-match. "We played well and we're very happy with this result."
PSG have struggled in the opening stages of the season, losing two of their first four games, but they've since turned things around and have now won their last two matches.
With Neymar back in form, it could be an important turning point for PSG's campaign. The Brazil international has been one of the club's standout performers so far this season, contributing six goals and seven assists in nine league appearances.
Despite the setback against Troyes, PSG will look to bounce back next weekend when they face Lyon at the Stade de France. With both teams having suffered defeats in recent weeks, there is plenty of potential for a closely contested encounter between the two sides.
