Beijing Guoan forward Wang Gang has sustained a knee injury and will be out for the next two to three months, according to the club's official website on Monday.
The 25-year-old player was injured in Saturday's Chinese Super League match against Tianjin Quanjian. He left the pitch after being subbed off during the first half due to the injury.
Wang Gang joined Beijing Guoan from Jiangsu Suning last summer, but he struggled with fitness issues throughout his time there. The forward made only seven league appearances before the injury.
Beijing Guoan is currently third in the league table with 16 points from eight games. They will face Shanghai SIPG in their next match on Tuesday.
