Borussia Dortmund 2-0 beats TSG Hoffenheim: Brandt scores, Adeyemi provides assist.

Borussia Dortmund secured their second consecutive win in the Bundesliga with a dominant display against TSG Hoffenheim at Signal Iduna Park on Saturday evening.

The match started with a fierce start from both teams as they attempted to take control of the game early on. However, it was Borussia Dortmund who took the lead first through Emre Can's deflected goal in the 15th minute. The German defender's header off a corner found its way into the top corner and sent the home fans into raptures.

The visitors continued to press forward throughout the first half, with Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland causing havoc down the left side of the pitch. They were able to create some good chances but could not find the back of the net until the 66th minute when Christian Eriksen provided an assist for Julian Brandt to score his third goal of the season.

TSG Hoffenheim tried hard to get back into the game but it was too late. The visitors were unable to find the equaliser and conceded another goal in the 88th minute through a long-range effort by Sancho. It was a perfect end to a fantastic performance from the hosts, who now sit top of the table with 19 points from six games.

Overall, it was a well-deserved victory for Borussia Dortmund, who have shown great consistency this season. They will be looking to continue their impressive form when they host Union Berlin next week.
